Carrying a firearm for security work is a serious responsibility. My Firearm Instruction program is designed for security professionals who need more than a basic range session - they need disciplined, mission-focused training grounded in real experience.
I begin with handgun safety training, reinforcing safe handling habits until they are automatic: muzzle awareness, trigger discipline, loading and unloading, clearing malfunctions, and secure storage and transport on and off duty. If your fundamentals are weak, nothing else matters, so I make sure those basics are solid before you move forward.
Once safety is locked in, I build your shooting platform: stance, grip, sight alignment, trigger press, and follow-through. You will run structured drills that teach you to place accurate rounds where they belong, under time pressure and realistic stress. This is not recreational shooting; every exercise is tied to what you may face on a post.
I also cover firearm handling in a security context: drawing from a holster, re-holstering safely, movement with a weapon, communication while armed, and protecting your firearm in close quarters. You learn how to maintain control of your weapon and your surroundings at the same time.
Throughout the course, I tie each drill back to policy, law, and your duty as a professional. You will understand how your firearm fits into the broader use-of-force continuum and why de-escalation remains your first option whenever possible.
Whether you are preparing for an armed security role or refining skills you already have, this instruction gives you the confidence to carry a handgun on duty safely and competently. Employers notice the difference between someone who just "qualifies" and someone who trains like a professional. My goal is to make sure you are in the second category.
